This project originated from the "National Greenways" initiative, promoted by the National Development Council. It integrates agricultural and canal planning, connecting the surrounding landscape, cultural heritage, historical sites, and multiple water conservancy structures along the route. In line with the overall national land development plan, the goal is to systematically combine landscape, ecology, and cultural elements to promote a non-motorized linear space—the "Canal Greenway."
