Chamuying is the old name for Liuying, originating from the time of Zheng Chenggong when a camp was set up for land surveys. To ensure abundant grain supplies for the military and civilians, officers and soldiers were stationed in various areas to cultivate land, and a special "Chamuying" camp was established to measure and allocate agricultural land, which gave rise to the name.
