The Chamuying Lateral Branch, 6,728 meters long, is mainly responsible for supplying water for irrigating groups such as Chamuying under Chongxi Station’s jurisdiction and Dongtaikang under Liuying Station's jurisdiction, covering an irrigated area of about 4,833 hectares. The structure was rebuilt in 1963 and adopts rising-stem electric gates.

Chamuying is the old name for Liuying, originating from the time of Zheng Chenggong when a camp was set up for land surveys. To ensure abundant grain supplies for the military and civilians, officers and soldiers were stationed in various areas to cultivate land, and a special "Chamuying" camp was established to measure and allocate agricultural land, which gave rise to the name.
