The Guichong River Sluice Gate is located upstream of the Guichong River Aqueduct. Its purpose is to regulate upstream and downstream water levels, stabilize the water supply to each branch line and irrigation group, and, if the upstream water level becomes too high, divert water through the west spillway gate into the Guichong River, ensuring the safety of both the upstream canal and the downstream aqueduct structure. The structure was rebuilt in 2013 and adopts a sawtooth-screw suspended electric gate. The gate measures 4.4 meters in width and 5.0 meters in height.
