The Guichong River Aqueduct (Old Bridge) was completed in 1930 and is a water conveyance structure of the Chianan Canal that crosses the Guichong River. The bridge piers are made of reinforced concrete, and the bridge itself features a water channel with a Warren truss configuration, connected using "rivets," a rare technique in modern bridge engineering.

The Guichong River Aqueduct (New Bridge) was officially inaugurated in June 2023. To harmonize with the surrounding landscape, it was designed as a steel truss bridge with a maximum designed flow rate of 40 CMS. The lower part of the bridge is a water channel, while the upper part forms part of the national greenway, known as the "Canal Greenways," which allows cyclists to pass through.

On November 10, 2022, the aqueduct was designated a municipal historic site by the Tainan City Government.
