The Jingliao Sluice Gate is designed to regulate upstream and downstream water levels, stabilize water delivery to each branch line, and manage irrigation for different groups.
The structure was rebuilt in 2010 and adopts electric gates.
There are three sluice gates, each measuring 4.0 meters in width and 3.5 meters in height.
The Jingliao Lateral Canal, which runs through the sluice gate, is 11,173 meters long and mainly supplies water for the Jingliao irrigation group under the jurisdiction of Houbi Station, covering an irrigated area of approximately 1,279 hectares.
